Plane Letters…

I’m so doing this.

thomashill:

i officially plan on adopting this:

walpaper:

It’s been awhile since I’ve written one. I believe I wrote my first Plane Letter in Jr. High, though it could have been earlier. Plane Letters are long (five or more pages) notes which are written to a friend or love interest. These can have drawings, mazes and games embedded between the rambling text.

Once written, the letter is placed within an envelope, sealed, given to the recipient and unopened until she is on the plane to her destination. Back in the day, the most common times of the year for Plane Letters were Winter Break & Spring Break.

I wrote the best Plane Letters.

I came across this website about four or five years ago, and I thought it was ridiculously intriguing. The premise is that people find things in their daily lives (scrap paper, hand-written notes, shopping lists, etc.) and send them to a website for the internet to see. Kind of like PostSecret with a more intimate twist.

So anyway, I lost the link somehow and have been trying on and off for the last few years to find it — and lo and behold, it surfaced today on reddit!

Cool website; cute note.

This is an amazing movie. I’m a sucker for romcoms, and Apatow & co. deliver a fun hybrid of raunchy, laugh out loud, and cute.
Kind of reminds me of a more grown-up version of Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. Sort of.
